This sculptural group is part of the monument paying tribute to Marquês de Pombal (1699-1782), on top of Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon.
Conceived by the sculptor Francisco dos Santos (he died four years before it was inaugurated in 1934), assisted by José Simões de Almeida and Leopoldo Neves de Almeida.

Yes I can see you do some fine work with your Gandolfi I can even feel the effort of the statues you capture them well.

I don't know if it is the film combo or the light-
just goes to show you can see differences even on the web.
